Write what disturbs you, what you fear, what you have not been willing to speak about. Be willing to be split open.

– Natalie Goldberg

Why create with words?

I write in order to listen. To channel the expression of my shadows and heart in a new way. To offer a window into what my finely tuned intuition is hearing in the waves and wind.

Writing is a reminder to me that I am not alone, that there are others out there in the velvet dark and the blazing sunlight.

I write to rattle the stars. And I hope that wherever any of my channeled words meet you, whether poetry or prose, that they hold your hand as you wander.
